Our Trip to Traverse City

This will be a photo heavy post. These are some of the images from our trip to Traverse City, Michigan last weekend. We went there last year for our one year wedding anniversary. That was on May 21. We were a little late this year, but it still counts, right? There was a lot of water, sunsets, good food and wine. Lots of wine. Here are some of the images that I deemed worthy of display.

This is a picture of the vineyards at Brys Estates. This place is still my favorite Traverse City winery. This was our second trip up here, and I think I’ll buy at least one bottle of their Dry Riesling every time we go.

This was a sunset on the beach. Saturday night. With some ducks.

These were taken at the Sleeping Bear Dunes. That is some random stranger that I’m using for scale…

This is actually just zoomed in from the previous picture. Crazy.

I love that this sign says that they’ll charge you to rescue you if you’re dumb enough to fall down the crazy cliff you’re standing on.

These were Matt skipping stones at the beach. That was the most awesome beach for skipping stones. The beach was made entirely of skipping stones. I could have stayed there forever. Except for the bugs.

So that was our semi-anniversary trip up to Traverse City last weekend. Now we have 4 more bottles of wine that are pushing me closer and closer to trying to make that wine rack I keep bugging Matt about. Maybe more on that soon?
